The Dish on 2009: There Goes My Twenties...

Exactly on this day, ten years ago, we were all waiting anxiously for the millennium bug to bite. The turn of the century came and went a few days later without any big glitch. Once the fanfare has died down, life for normal folks like us went on as usual, like we were still living in the 20th century. However, since then, the world around us has changed a whole damn lot. And, so have I.

Personally, the last decade has been filled with crazy explorations and misadventures. One could call it  the most exhilarating roller coaster ride. I have no regrets and given the choice, I would do it all again in a heartbeat. Guess they were all part of earning my stripes. And before I bid the 2009 adieu, I just wanna say that I'm very grateful for how the final year of my Twenties has turned out to be. I want to thank everyone for making this year an amazing one. It's probably the best I've experience till date.



Now, I can look forward to my 30's without a big smile on my face. Why not? After all, I hear it's the new 20's! I'd soon find out. See you on the other side.
