Lunch Fit For A Queen: Sage, The Gardens

This was supposed to be posted up yesterday in conjunction with the Queen's birthday, but procrastination got the best of me. Guess one day's not too late. After all, we did celebrate her birthday a week earlier. And it went a little something like that...

It's my first time eating at Sage. Yes, some kinda foodie I am eh? Nevertheless I'm impressed with the quality of food here. Dish to dish, we all had a satisfied smile permanently plastered on our faces. A three-course lunch here will set you back RM100++. It'll be the best RM100 you'll ever part with. Oh, and the interesting part is that the menu changes on a weekly basis. So, you can keep on spending RM100 every week - provided you have a deep pocket that is!

The menu of the week was:

Appetizers

Seared foie gras with quail and mesclun salad; or
Vichyssoise of Hokkaido scallop with grated summer truffle


Mains

Braised wagyu cheek with dauphinoise potato and fine beans; or
Roasted seabass with king prawn and sautéed mushrooms


Desserts

Earl grey bavarois with chocolate sorbet and ginger confiture; or
French farm cheese platter
