You see, I've been trying very hard to find the right words to write about this meal. In fact, I'm still struggling right now as I'm typing this out. Lord only knows how many times I've sat starring blankly into the screen only to quit before the first word could appear. I've even resorted to begging a friend to write a confusing 4-level deep Inception-like story to keep me from talking about the food here. He has been very busy and I can't wait any longer. So here I am, still speechless.
And since I'm in this self-imposed predicament because I believe I should never say anything unless I have something good to say, I can only hope that what they say about pictures are true. I hope the visual feast below can paint a better essay of the dinner than I ever could.

The Menu:
- Typhoon Shelter Crab (signature spicy garlic style)
- Salted Egg Yolk Crab
- Signature Fried Noodles with Seafood
- Sweet & Sour Pork
- Platter of Duck's Tongue, Chicken Gristle & White Bait, fried in salt and pepper style
- Steamed Scallop with Garlic
- Braised Pheonix Claws
- Sang Har Noodles
- Chilled Lemon Honey Sea Coconut dessert
Thanks to the management for your kind invitation.

Ooooooooooooohh!! What's the cantonese name for that crab dish! It slips my tongue right now. I had it before in HK and it was the best crab I ever ate!

ReplyDeleteAh Pa: Thanks for being my muse!
ReplyDeleteJoe: I love garlic. I really do. No qualms about them.
Aly: Do I really need to say it out loud. You don't really have to read too much between the lines girl.
J: Hahaha, perhaps you should ask what didn't make me speechless.
LFB: Don't be silly. Hardly your fault at all. I was just glad to get this out of the way.
Wandernut: Well these were far from the ones you've had then. Way off course. I believe they're called "pei foong hai"?
Sean: I love em garlics too! :)
