Weissbräu, Pavilion Kuala Lumpur: Pork Pork I Love You

Dear Porky Pork,
I never knew how adorable you are until recently. I used to think that you're fat, ugly, greasy, smelly and a good for nothing kind of a bum.


But recently, I find myself totally attracted to you. You're cute in your pink outfit and even more handsome and juicy when you're naked. I love how you oozes with confidence and have no issues with your body shape whatsoever. I no longer mind you bumming around or the fact that your belly's big and round. I love how your skin glistens and crackles and how lusciously fragrant you get when you're on heat.


I just can't sing enough of your praises. I can't wait to taste you in my mouth again.

Weissbräu is quickly earning a reputation as one of those places in town to get yourself a handsome portion on porcine goodness. This German pub/bistro, is located at the Pavilion KL's Connections precinct along with La Bodega, Michelangelo and Rainforest Pub & Bistro, serves a variety of German and continental European favourites. I've only been here twice and I'm already in love with it.

The excellent German Pork Knuckle with crunchy crackling skin and succulent fork-tender meat has got to be the best I've tasted in this town (don't quote me on this, it's not like I've eaten THAT many to pass judgment). Doesn't smell "porky" one bit. Another dish that's got me craving for more is the Pork Zurich. The sauce is creamy, slightly tangy and peppery but not one bit "jelak-y" (fed up) and goes really well with the accompanying potato roesti.
