Tuesday: Bohemian Melbourne

Me: G'Mornin...
Friend:OMG! WHO just declared Melbourne the Swine Flu capital of the world! We should stay indoors.
Me: *roll eyes* [continues brushing my teeth]
TV News Anchor: ...1 in every 10,000 people in Melbourne are contracted with the H1N1 virus making the Australian city the highest number of confirmed cases per capita....
Friend: I'm not going out.
Me: What are the odds? Everyone who's got it is quarantined.
Friend: Eeeck! Don't want...
Me: Fine, don't go out then. You can stay in here and rot while we enjoy ourselves in Brunswick.
Friend: Wait...I'll go get change now.
Now with the Bacon Fever topic out of the way, lets move on to some comics!

Hop on the excellent tram system from the city centre. #112 takes you directly to Brunswick St. while the #86 leaves from Gertrude St. back to the city.

We stopped for breakfast at:

DON VINCENZO (named after some mafia dude ya think?)
301 Brunswick St., Fitzroy, VIC 3065
Tel: +613 9419 6204
Established since 1998, they serve breakfast til 6pm everyday (so, it's totally OK to sleep in) with certified free range eggs and organic artisan wood-fired sourdough. Excellent service too.

Thanks JP for getting us the tickets! Don't bother asking me about that $1 dinner which came with our tickets. And if you are still clueless as to what this super hilarious new breed of musical is all about, watch this PG-rated made-for-tv clip for a lil insight. But what are the chances, I'm probably the last person on earth to watch it. Avenue Q is currently playing in Australia. For more info visit their official Oz website.
