I'll admit that being under the weather in the last two days does give me some extra time and an opportunity to vegetate in front of the idiot box. And guess what commercial decided to pop up while I was tuning into the Beijing Olympics?
If there's one more thing more ridiculous that the Nasi Lemak Wrap itself, is its commercial! Throughout the entire experience, I was having this conversation with myself:
I: OMG... No, they didn't!
Myself: Yes, They did
I: No, they DIDN'T
Myself: They DID!
I: NO, they DIDN'T!
Myself: They DID, They DID, They DID
I: THEY DIDN'T!!!
Ok, maybe it was the drug speaking but have you seen it? Seriously, somebody's gotta be shot. Now, where's my chicken!
Mommy Nasi Lemak looks kinda cute in the second panel. That look of complete satisfaction in a job well done. Of course the hubby and kid had to go and ruin everything... :P
ReplyDeleteThe whole thing actually reminds me of the classic HK movie "Chicken and Duck Talk" where the lead dresses up in Indian Sari to try the competitor's chicken across the street...only to have his make-up melting moments later *LOL*
