So it's a relieve to have a bunch of colleagues who enjoy food as much as I do and such company is hard to get. Here are a few of our off-beat adventures around the dining table.
One Friday we just decided to head over to SS3 Sungei Way to this rather popular spot for an early lunch. About 8 of us just decided to throw in the towel for a good mid-day grub hoping to cure our lousy week. We got there and ordered a whole lot of pork and a special pot of vege, taupok and mushroom for your's truly. Yes, I've gotta endure the whole "Why you don't eat pork?" and "Eating BKT with no Pork is not BKT" glares and stares from my fellow comrades. In any case, the soup's super yummy and I swear to you it taste just as good or better than some of those Klang ones.
Next up was a fantastic dinner to cure some post-warehouse sales blue. It's was a crazy sales. So hectic. So we headed to another fame place for our meal, this time just right behind the hotel where we were stucked serving crazy bargain hunters the whole day. Situated oddly in a dodgy corner of an old food court, is a seafood vendor who's been here serving their famous dishes for decades. Best bet here were the La-La Soup which was rich in rice wine and ginger; and the Garlic Prawns. YUMMMMM!
Can't wait for another memorable meal with the crazy girls from work.
